Pokimane Treats Ex-Roomate Valkyrae and Others to a Special Anime Screening – “So Heartfelt and So Heart-Wrenching!”

Imane Anys, better known as Pokimane, is one of the most prominent streamers on the planet. She capped off last year with a bang as she appeared on Stream Hatchet’s ‘Top 5 female streamers of 2021’ ranking. Furthermore, she recently became the proud recipient of the ‘Legacy Award’ at The Streamer Awards 2022. But the streamer has another less known side to herself, that of a serious anime aficionado.

Case in point, she recently hosted an early screening of the hotly anticipated Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie! She wasn’t alone, as fellow otaku Valkyrae joined her alongside other friends and even Poki’s adorable cat, Mimi.

Pokimane’s Jujutsu Kaisen obsession is not fresh news. She recently got into the critically acclaimed anime and manga series, immediately falling in love with everyone’s favorite mentor, Gojo Satoru. This happened during episode 7 of the anime, when Gojo unleashes his Doman Expansion, Unlimited Void, for the first time. The top streamer even said, “NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY EVERYONE SIMPS FOR HIM.”

Significantly, she’s not the only one. ‘The Queen of YouTube’, Valkyrae herself, has a crush on Mr. Satoru. She shot a tweet back in 2020, informing her audience, “Update: i have a crush on satoru.” Safe to say, Imane assembled the perfect dream team to enjoy the movie with.

Jujtsu Kaisen 0 will release in the United States on 18 March 2022; however, Pokimane was lucky enough to get an early screening of the movie. And going by her response, it would not be an understatement to say she loved it.

“The movie SO heartfelt and SO heart-wrenching at the same time,” she said. “Highly recommend watching it!”

Additionally, Imane’s fanbase can even use her link while booking their tickets to support the streamer. The community has had intriguing reactions to her tweet.
