Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is the latest addition to Nintendo’s most famous game series. This 2022-released Switch game is quite different from its predecessor. It doesn’t have directed gameplay, so players are free to explore the story as they want. The game features three-story paths for the player: Victory Road, Starfall Street, and Path of Legends.

Starfall Street is the classic Pokemon in-game path, where the players have to face an evil organization. Team Star is that organization in these ninth-generation games, which is made up of five factions with a mastermind on top. To complete this path, the player obviously has to defeat the leaders of these five factions, and some of them can be tough boss battles. So here is the best order to defeat those Team Star bosses.

6. Giacomo (Segin Squad)

Giacomo is the first Tear Star leader that players should begin their Starfall Street adventure. He is a Dark-type user with a Level 21 Pawniard and Level 20 Segin Starmobile. Further, this would be the player’s first encounter with a Starmobile, which is actually a Revaroom.

Players who are planning to take on Giacomo should use a Bug, Fairy, and Fighting-type Pokemon, as they are strong against Dark-types. Players who chose the Fire-type Fuecoco as their starter can also use it against Giacomo’s Pawniard. However, this Fire-type starter won’t work against Segin Squad’s Revaroom.

Every Team Star leaders have special variants of Revaroom that take on those leaders’ preferred Pokemon typing than being a Steel/Poison-type. So, Segin Squad’s Revaroom is a Dark-type. After defeating Giacomo, players would be awarded a TM62, the Dark-type move Foul Play.

5. Mela (Schedar Squad)

After facing darkness, players should take on the fire of Team Squad. The Team Star’s Schedar Squad leader is Mela, who uses Fire-type Pokemon. She would use pure Fire-type Pokemon: a Level 27 Torkoal and a 26 Schedar Starmobile in the battle. She might be a tough opponent to face because of her heavy hitter Fire-type party.

Players should use a team of Rock, Fire, Water, and Dragon-type Pokemon. Players who chose the Water-type Quaxly as their starter will have a great advantage in the battle. But if they don’t have any of these types, players would be easily able to catch the Dragon-type Cyclizar near the Schedar Squad’s Base. Meakla would reward the Fire-type move TM38 (Flame Charge).

4. Atticus (Navi Squad)

Team Star’s Navi Squad leader Atticus would be one of the most troublesome bosses to fight without a proper team. He is a Poison-type user, meaning players would always be battling with the fear of their Pokemon getting Poisoned. Further, Atticus would use four Pokemon: Level 32 Skunktank, Level 32 Muk, Level 32 Revaroom, and Level 32 Navi Starmobile.

Players should use Ground or Psychic-type against Atticus. But they can also use Steel-types because of their immunity against Poison.  Navi would be the only Team Star leader using two Revaroom, one is the usual Steel/Poison type, while the other is a pure Poison type. Further, Atticus would award a Poison-type move TM102 (Gunk Shot) for defeating him.

3. Ortega (Ruchbah Squad)

After defeating the Poison-type Team star leader Atticus, players should get some Poison-types themselves to take down Ruchbah Squad’s leader Ortega. After all, this Team Star leader is a Fairy-type user, who will use Level 50 Azumarill, Level 50 Wigglytuff, Level 51 Dachsbun, and Level 50 Ruchbah Starmobile.

Aside from having Poison-type Pokemon, players can also use the Steel-type that they used against Atticus. Without the proper team, it would be tough to take down Azumaril, Wigglytuff, and the Fairy-type Revaroom because of their impressive defensive and HP stat. But defeating Ortega will reward players the TM79, the Fairy-type move Dazzling Gleam.

2. Eri (Caph Squad)

The Final Team Star leader is Caph Squad’s Eri, who is a Fighting-type user in Pokemon battles. She would use a tough Fighting-type team of Level 55 Toxicroak, Level 55 Passimian, Level 56 Annihilape, Level 55 Lucario, and Level 56 Caph Starmobile.

Being a Fighting-type user, players should use a Pokemon party of Fairy, Flying, and Psychic-type. They can use the same Psychic-type squad that they against Atticus, but they should be over Level 56. After defeating Eri’s tough Fighting-type Pokemon, players will get one of the best Fighting-type moves, TM 167 (Close Combat).

1. Cassiopeia (Team Star Big Boss)

After defeating the five bosses, Penny reveals herself to be the Team Star founder and her real name is Cassiopeia. Unlike all Team Star leaders, Cassiopeia doesn’t use any specific type. Instead, she is an Eeveelution user. She has a Level 62 Umbreon, Level 62 Flareon, Level 62 Jolteon, Level 62 Vaporeon, Level 62 Leafeon, and Level 63 Sylveon.

Players should have Fire, Water, and Electric-type Pokemon along with the Fairy/Steel-type Tinkaton. Further, Cassiopeia will give a free turn by using Baby Doll’s Eyes upon sending her new Eeveelution to the battle. But the players might not be able to take down her Pokemon in one hit. Defeating Cassiopeia will complete the Starfall Street path in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and reward the strong Dragon-type move TM169, Draco Meteor.
