In fact, this game’s launch is the second biggest video game launch for Nintendo Switch in Japan, only behind the widely popualar Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which tops this chart.
Moreover, the popular Japanese video game magazine, Famitsu has confirmed this news along with these figures, shedding all doubt on the latest Pokemon game breaking records in Japan in terms of sales. In fact, what’s even more surprising is this game achieved the unprecedented milestone within just three days of its release.

Another prominent personality of the gaming industry, named “Nibel” shared the same news on Twitter. Moreover, Nibel’s tweet also has a link to the official Famitsu’s article that broke the news. According to Famitsu, Pokemon Legends: Arceus made an estimated domestic sale of 1,424,657 units. In fact, this title’s the first-ever action RPG in the series.

As of now, the developers of his game have released no details regarding the game’s achievement. Looking at the fast pace of the game’s sales, it’s likely that it will make a sale of a couple of more million units in the coming few days.
