Niantic will launch several Psychic Pokemon as a part of its September Psychic Spectacular event. The Pokemon Inkay and its evolved form Malama are in line to make their debut in Pokemon Go. The Pokemon will redefine the game, and players are excited.

Inkay, a Psychic and Dark Pokemon, is vulnerable to Fairy and Bug moves and deals damage through attacks like Night Slash and Tackle. It can be evolved into Malamar with 50 candies. The Spectacular Psychic event starts Wednesday, September 8, 2021, from 10 am and will continue until Monday, September 13, 2021, at 8 pm.

Inkay: Features and How to use the Pokemon

In the Pokemon Go Live Blog, Niantic posted a list of features detailing how trainers can encounter, catch and evolve these event-based Pokemon. Trainers will have to complete Field Research for doing the same. As the event begins on September 8, 2021, the Psychic Pokemon-based Field Research Tasks will be revealed in the game.

The blog further states Inkay, Elgyem, Drowzee, and other Psychic-type Pokemon will be available in the wild and trainers need to be lucky enough to spot them.

In order to evolve Inkay into Malamar, trainers will need 50 Candies. It is important to note that Malamar is vulnerable to Fairy and Bug moves as well. Malamar’s strongest moves are Foul Play and Psycho Cut. It has a maximum CP of 2359.

Season of Mischief in on September

The Season of Mischief season has already started and there are plenty of things that we can expect this month! The month-long event, from 1st Sept-1st Oct 2021, will feature  Ditto in Research Breakthrough encounters and even Shiny Ditto.

Besides, every Monday in September, for 1 PokéCoin, a one-time-purchase package featuring a Remote Raid Pass and other goodies will be available in the shop. Furthermore, Luiga is getting an attack called Aeroblast and will appear in five-start raids on September 1, 2021.
