A reviewer with early access to the game seems to have shared something straight outta the gameplay that has both gamers and celestial body enthusiasts cheering. From the screenshot, it looks like Pluto is available for exploration in Starfield.
With the debate on whether the 9th member of our solar system is a planet or not raging on for decades, Bethesda looks like they have their opinion clear.

Scholars and armchair astronomers have always clashed on the subject of Pluto. People can’t come to an agreeable stand on whether it’s a planet or just a lump of rock that’s also orbiting the Sun. However, Starfield devs have included something a tiny detail in the game that may try to answer some questions. It looks like Starfield’s in-game solar system has Pluto as a point of interest (POI) that can be explored by players.

Starfield is likely to have a massive map with hundreds and thousands of POIs across the galaxy. Players can design their own spaceships and travel to any of these during their voyages. With Pluto being available for exploration, many believe Starfield will try to give definitive answers on whether Pluto is a planet or something else.
