Eric further added, “The reason we’re doing this is we really want to open up expressive choice to the way that you build your Kratos, like the equipment and loadout and things like that.” For comparison, the 2018 title provided only players just one shield and there was no option to find or equip another.
God of War Ragnarok will also allow players to travel to all the nine realms, so it might be possible that Kratos will be able to find new defensive abilities along the way or while exploring different realms. Apart from that, we also know that Thor will play a major role as one of the antagonists. It will also be interesting to see Tyr’s role in the game as the character has been confirmed in the game.
