PlayStation showcase September 2021: Rumors Suggest a Fan-Favorite Franchise might Make a Surprise Appearence

If rumors are true, Infamous, or inFAMOUS, might make a comeback in this PlayStation showcase, and nothing could be better than this!A PlayStation 3 classic. This game was developed by Sucker Punch and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. And though the game was considered as one of the most-adored IPs of PlayStation, this project was soon abandoned.

The series spans five titles, where players can control characters with supernatural powers. The game tested the players’ morality behind choosing good or evil.

Infamous to make a return to PlayStation

The Infamous franchise was abandoned after the release of Second Son and First Light in 2014. However, according to Twitter user Shepshal Nick, Infamous might probably make a comeback pretty soon.

It was further revealed that Sucker Punch and PlayStation had filled the domain name “infamousgame.com” for registration.

Surety regarding the announcement on the series is still unknown. While people might be speculating remastered/rebooted versions of the previous titles, it might be probable that a brand new edition to the series might be in the works.
