It is rare for exclusive titles from PlayStation or Xbox to make their way towards the other console. However, 2022 might just be a year of twists and turns as an Xbox Exclusive might be available as a free game for the PlayStation Plus subscribers.
The January 2022 lineup for free PS Plus games has been leaked, and the list includes the Xbox Exclusive Deep Rock Galactic and two other games. These games will be available for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Leaks suggest Xbox Exclusive Deep Rock Galactic along with Persona 5 Strikers and DIRT 5 will come to PlayStation Plus
While Sony is yet to confirm this news, this leak suggests that three games are on the January lineup of PlayStation Plus free games. The list includes Deep Rock Galactic, Persona 5 Strikers, and DIRT 5. Persona 5 Strikers will be available only for PS4 while Deep Rock Galactic and DIRT 5 will be available for both PS4 and PS5.
Previously, it was a known fact in the community that Deep Rock Galactic would release on PlayStation consoles sometime in January. Now that the leak reveals January 4 as the apparent release date, fans just await the official confirmation from Sony to find out if this is true.

The leakers had also revealed the November lineup for PS Plus free games and all information turned out to be accurate. Hence, it is pretty viable to rely on this new leak as well, given it’s highly likely it will turn out to be true.
If Deep Rock Galaxy did actually come to the platform, that is something all PS users would love. This game debuted in 2018 for PC via Steam Early Access. It was fully released in 2020 for Xbox One and has sold more than three million copies. The game has an amazing rating Metacritic rating of 85 which makes it worth playing.

If all these rumors turn out to be true, then Sony indeed has got 2022 sorted for the PlayStation users!
