PlayStation Plus welcomes the revamped world of Soulstorm

Oddworld Inhabitants, the creators of the platformer-puzzle franchise, will now release an upgraded version of their latest title, Oddworld: Soulstorm. The game was originally launched on April 6th, 2021, and was met with open arms by the community as well as the critics. Apart from its organic release, Soulstorm was also offered to PS Plus Subscribers in April.

Months after its release, the upgraded edition of the title will be available to every individual who redeemed the game via PS Plus or bought the game.

Building on the expectations set by the standard edition, the enhanced version will launch towards the end of November. The reworked title will launch with “improved gameplay mechanics”, all patches and updates of the base Soulstorm, and will also offer exciting new content.

The new title, like the original, will launch on PS4 and PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S and PC via the Epic Games Store for $39.99 USD.

Although the update is free, the title can be referred to as an “unconventional” freebie. The update is free for PS Plus subscribers if and only they redeemed the game when it was first offered.
