Yesterday, PlayStation took to Twitter to reveal that they have added a new game to their ‘Play at Home’ lineup. The most recent addition comes in the form of Horizon: Zero Dawn Complete Edition.

The Horizon series follows Aloy as she attempts to uncover the secrets of her past in a world full of mechanical predators. The game is developed by Guerilla Games who have previously worked on the Killzone franchise. The role-playing game follows the main story along with side quests and features some beautiful graphics for a PlayStation game.

Horizon Zero Dawn is now free for PlayStation users

Horizon Zero Dawn is the tenth game in an indie bundle which originally released last month. The bundle also included games like Abzu, Subnautica, Rez Infinite, and more. If you have not claimed these games, be sure to do so as they expire on April 22. On the other hand, Horizon Zero Dawn is available till May 15.

PlayStation began the ‘Play at Home’ initiative one year ago on April 14, 2020. The initiative was PlayStation’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic which kept people confined within their home. As a result of Play at Home, players can now enjoy a host of free games during the lockdown.

Initially, fans were offered a legendary PlayStation exclusive in the form of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. This collection includes three of Naughty Dogs’ best games, namely Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.

Fans of the Horizon series can also enjoy the sequel to Zero Dawn. Developers expect Horizon Forbidden West to come out later this year. In this latest installment, you must help Aloy find the source of a mysterious and deadly plague as she journeys into the Forbidden West.
