The hype and excitement around Spider-Man 2 are surreal. All eSports lovers around the globe are excited by every little detail revealed. The makers have been successful in building on the intriguing mystery around the story and fresh additions to the title. The game is set to release in October 2023 on PlayStation 5.  A recent update by the makers has revealed the title will be available in three editions.

Insomniac Games have never disappointed the community when it comes to expectations. This time during promotions, the makers have claimed this title to be the ultimate experience for a Marvel fan. 

Spider-Man 2 to be available in three editions

Spider-Man 2 caters to a massive range of fans. These fans go beyond the world of core gaming fans to comic book lovers. Insomniac has been the best in the business when it comes to marketing a title. The decision of releasing Spider-Man 2 in three editions is also being welcomed by the fans. The three editions will include, the “Standard Edition”, “Digital Deluxe Edition”, and “Collector’s Edition”. All these editions will be available for pre-order on June 16. The developers of the title are also providing exciting pre-order bonuses. 

With the information already out from the official sources, we are aware that the story will revolve around two famous characters, Miles Morales and Peter Parker. Both of the popular names based in the city of New York would come together to fight on an adventurous journey. Although, there has been little to no information on Kraven (the villain) in the title, resulting in a lot of interesting speculations about the same. The Marvel fans on the other side hailed praises on Insomniac for implementing the crossover of the two most loved spider-men next door.

But who exactly will play the antagonist in the new game?

Venom and Kraven the Hunter to be unique foils for the Spidermen

The most talked about factor post the teaser trailer of the title was the inclusion of Venom in the world. The post-credit scene of the first game teased the fans about the possible entry of Venom into the universe. The teaser trailer confirmed the same. The makers of Spider-Man 2 at the Summer Game Fest met with a lot of questions on the speculations around the game.

Answering this Bryan Intihar, the creative director of Insomniac Games said, “Kraven is different from anything we have done till now. Our goal was to present an original story that you haven’t seen in the comic or the movies yet. Everything you love is gonna be there but to know how the story unfolds, you’ll have to play the game.”
