PlayStation has finally done it, giving an ease of usage to the users who have a DualSense controller but don’t own a PlayStation 5. Now they can directly update their controller’s firmware wirelessly, through a Windows 11 or Windows 10 PC.
This is a major update considering the fact that owning a PlayStation 5 is a luxury these days. Even if an individual has a DualSense, they can’t do much with it as it requires the console for refreshing its software. But it won’t be the case anymore!

Users who like to enjoy latest games on their PC instead of a PS console will surely receive a massive benefit from this overhaul. They won’t need the present gen device itself to connect their controller and update the firmware.
Simply put, now they can just plug in their DualSense via a USB to a PC, running either the Windows 11 or Windows 10 operating system. Then they can easily download the latest software, from Sony’s servers, for their controller.
This fresh change once again indicates Sony’s interest in bringing more of its PlayStation blockbusters to the PC platform. In recent years, players have witnessed titles like Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone making their debuts for Windows-based computers.
