PlayStation and Xbox Fans Likely to Storm Walmart Following Massive Restock Update

The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X have created an enormous impact on the community since their release. Furthermore, both of them are in tremendous demand and often get out of stock in seconds. Because of such immense popularity, not everyone is able to get their hands on them.

Interestingly, PS and Xbox Series X will be restocked for Walmart Plus subscribers on March 14. Jake Randell, a YouTuber, has confirmed that only the console will be available and not the entire bundle. Here’s everything you need to know before the restock happens.

PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X get restocked on Walmart Plus

Currently, most Walmart restocks are only limited to Walmart Plus members. Thus, it’s no surprise that the PS5 and Xbox Series X restock is also limited to Walmart Plus subscribers, and it requires a paid account — no free trials will qualify. Surprisingly, this is not the first restock that Walmart has organized.

The previous restock happened on February 24 and Walmart gained numerous subscribers. Several gamers subscribed to Walmart Plus and entered a waiting queue to wait for their turns to buy a console. The superstore offered the standard PlayStation 5 equipped with a disc drive for $499, the disc-less PlayStation 5 Digital Edition for $399, and also the Xbox Series X for $499.

The entire previous restock was lackluster and several fans predicted that the retailer could move this month’s restock a bit further. Now, Walmart has confirmed the day of the next restock to be March 14. Make sure to purchase a membership if you want to participate in this restock.

Walmart Plus costs $12.95 per month or $98 per year, so it’s possible for you to only pay for one month to order your favorite console( on the day of restock) and then cancel it before you are billed for a second month.

Unlike many other sales, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X get out of stock in seconds.
