There is no easy way to tackle a firm that has limitless resources and can splurge it at any moment to realize its goals. The current battle of Sony against Microsoft is telling the same story, with the American tech giant taking a massive lead with Xbox Game Pass. This unique idea of kick-starting a similar live subscription service like Netflix has changed the gaming landscape.
Gamers can now browse a wide range of titles that would otherwise get ignored. It established a direct connection between gamers and vendors and thereby becoming the next big thing in gaming. New reports from within the community suggest PlayStation is inching closer to revealing its answer to Game Pass as industry analysts uncover possibly pricing details of ‘Spartacus’.

Leaked pricing turns Twitter into a battle arena for Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation fans
It is no surprise that the ongoing feud between the two console creators has entered a new level. No longer are these major gaming firms mulling over just the consoles, as buying gaming studios has become the new trend. Game Pass took things to a new level and provided Xbox fans with a product that was unmatched. Unsurprisingly, this war has also divided respective fans into two groups as well, as they bicker over who has the upper hand.
PlayStation has to keep the price factor in mind to remain lucrative for gamers the world over. This is the most important factor that will decide the future of the service and if it can give Game Pass a run for its money.
What I find very interesting is essential is basically PS+ and no one isn’t saying a word that the service basically doubled in price!!!

Another fan retorted that these aren’t final pricing plans, and the studio is still working on the product.
Well, that's because it isn't official yet. If it was, there will be an outrage.

Monthly renewal will cost significantly more compared to the cheap annual package, fans should make their decision after surveying all the offers.
Who wanted to pay 10$ every month, when it's 60/year ?

PlayStation fans pointed out that the company has always had a live subscription and gave a curious new name to Game Pass.

The pricing plans are confusing, and the revenue model as well, only Sony’s official announcement can offer some clarity.
I’m confused on how this works. Do the monthly games from ps essential become a permanent addition to the catalog in ps extra?

imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and Sony may have already dropped the ball.
Yeah it's literally just Game Pass. They didn't even try to do something original.

Fans are already hating the multiple-tier system and hope that the actual product doesn’t carry the same.
It also seems like they are adding classics to premium. Curious to learn more about that. I do wish maybe there was only 2 tiers. I’ll likely try to pay the yearly for premium if that is an option.
