Xbox Game Pass could overtake PlayStation and Nintendo with Activision Blizzard’s vast catalog!

As is already known, Microsoft had announced its deal with Call of Duty publisher Activision early this year. Interestingly, there was a survey conducted a few days after this reveal. Its objective was to see how this acquisition will change the dynamics of the competition among the top consoles.

VGC reported that according to a research done by YouGov, around 46 percent of the PlayStation and Nintendo users, in the US, would like to consider joining Xbox Game Pass. That’s because, after the deal with Activision Blizzard, the subscription service will bring the publisher’s extremely huge catalog of games. A few of its heavyweight IPs include the likes of Call of Duty, Overwatch, Doom, and more.

Simply put, Activision Blizzard games, especially Call of Duty, will be the key reason behind Xbox Game Pass gaining an advantage in the coming future. It also implies that even the PlayStation and Nintendo players do think about trying out other options sometimes.

The acquisition deal of Microsoft and Activision Blizzard is expected to finish by 2023. After its completion, all the Activision titles will come under the roof of Xbox Game Studios, headed by Phil Spencer.
