The month of September was supposed to start off with a flood of PlayStation 5 restocks. At least, that is what everyone was hoping for. We are halfway into the first week, and it does not look like a promising week.
Target, one of the forerunners, is having what looks like a dry week with only the Digital Edition to show for in all the big box stores. However, all hope is not lost. Insiders suggest a promising month for gamers looking to get their own PlayStation 5 Standards and Digitals.
PlayStation 5: Restock stores to look out for

Rollouts of both versions of the PS5 have been relatively slow in the first three days. The final week of August saw Amazon and GameStop restock in large amounts.
The American conglomerate: Amazon is known for dropping consoles in massive waves after weeks of dry spells. On Thursday, the company had a huge rollout of the PlayStation 5 Digital Editions. A restock of the Standard Edition might not be possible this week.
So your best chances of getting our own next-generation consoles remain GameStop and Target. Both the retailers prefer midweek drops on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. As for Best Buy, although they have not seen much traffic recently, you can never rule them out. The retailer prefers restocks on Thursdays and Fridays, so make sure to keep an eye out for them.

As far as GameStop is concerned, they still remain at the top of the chain. The electronics retailer has always had the latest updates on restocks and rollouts for its subscription members. Notifying subscribers via Twitter before every wave. They recently took to Twitter to promote their membership, but it might also be a hint at a possible upcoming restock shipment. But that’s only for members to tell.

The PlayStation 5 digital edition costs $399, and the Standard is for $499 in the US. Make sure to have all payment information and delivery address ready to go if you don’t want to miss out on the console after waiting for more than a year.
