Xbox head, Phil Spencer announces that Call of Duty will stay with PlayStation

Activision has already announced that it’s planning to sell Call of Duty and Diablo publisher for an estimated $69 billion in an all-cash deal. According to Business insider blogs, “Among the many reasons for the purchase, Microsoft wants to bring Activision’s game library into its Netflix-like video game subscription service, Xbox Game Pass.”

Call of Duty has been a very iconic franchise for PlayStation and it has generated a lot of profit for Sony. Naturally, Sony wouldn’t have let such a successful title slip away from its hands. Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming, made PlayStation users happy by announcing that Call of Duty won’t leave the console.

After hearing such great news, many players thought that Xbox and PlayStation might have agreed on a deal. Surprisingly, even though Call of Duty is staying with Sony, rumors of Spiderman coming to Xbox are false. Moreover, many users are happy that with Spencer’s decision, the console war has finally ended.
