The Swedish content creator is renowned for his comedic and gaming videos. PewDiePie has made fun of many famous personalities, including streamers, content creators, and actors.
PewDiePie played a video game mocking Leonardo DiCaprio
The Swedish YouTuber has multiple Let’s Play video games. In 2016, he played an 8-Bit game called Leo’s Red Carpet Rampage that many don’t know about, and it was based on the American actor Leonardo DiCaprio. As the game’s name suggests, the game mocks the Titanic actor. Pewds played this game a few days before Leo bagged his first and only Oscar award.
In this game, the Swedish YouTuber plays as DiCaprio and has to run through the red carpet while chasing after the Oscar. However, PewDiePie has to dodge obstacles like the paparazzi and even Lady Gaga. Further, DiCaprio has to race against other actors like Matt Damon and Bryan Cranston. The game was quite tough to play, as Pewds said, “Why do you always slip away? I understand the struggle now, Leo. I understand what you have to go through.”

The 32-year-old tried his best and collected many awards, as players can collect other awards while chasing after the Oscar. PewDiePie finished the game with 15 Golden Globes, 43 Emmy Awards, 11 MTV Movie Awards, 20 BAFTAS, and 60 SAG Awards. However, the YouTube megastar failed to win the Oscar for which he was playing the game.
DiCaprio finally grabbed his first Oscar!
The 88th Academy Awards was held a few days after PewDiePie released this video. Surprisingly, the American actor won the Oscar for the best award actor. DiCaprio won this award for his mind-blowing performance in the 2015 American adventure drama film The Revenant. Further, PewDiePie’s video title predicted the outcome of the 2016 Oscars as it said, “LEO WINS THE OSCAR!”
