The former top dog of YouTube, Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg aka PewDiePie has been the catalyst for many innovations and movements in the online content industry. While most of them were positive, few had severe consequences. However, with his latest tactic in streaming, Felix is all set to change the meta forever.
In his long career, Felix had been an exclusive content creator for YouTube. Although he had a Twitch account, it remained dormant for years as he only streamed on YouTube. However, the channel is rejuvenated once again as the Swedish influencer has unveiled his innovative, “Infinite Money Glitch”.

On YouTube, Felix has been uploading content for more than a decade now. He has over 4000 videos on the backlog of his channel. The material could easily be accumulated into a steady stream of non-stop content. Thinking along those lines, Pewdiepie made an infinite stream on his Twitch channel that will be broadcasting his content, endlessly.
PewDiePie has launched a Twitch stream called "PewDiePie infinity", that endlessly plays every one of his videos on a loop.
With over 4000 Youtube videos posted, and over 3000 hours of content total, kind of an infinite money glitch.. pic.twitter.com/OS5MBfim7V

With such a massive backlog, Felix’s channel has around 3000 hours of content, which can be translated into roughly 125 days’ worth of constant flow of content. Looping this backlog can simply turn it into an infinite stream of content that could be streamed indefinitely. Generating money through subs and advertisements.
Seeing the long-dormant Twitch channel suddenly become active raised some suspicions among fans. Many started to believe it must be a hacker that has gained the access to Felix’s Backlog and is trying to make a quick buck. However, to bust these baseless rumors, some official statements were made.
It appeared that the YouTuber has joined forces with a company named, CoPilot Media, to make this a possibility. On Twitch, while the stream was down for a brief period, the team wrote, “PewDiePie ∞ will return in a few hours. There was no hack. This is an official channel. That was a quick beta test. Back in a bit.”
@SheldonJosephB ohhhh it's not a hack… interesting

Confirming that it wasn’t a hack but a calculated step to make Pewd’s content much more accessible to a wider audience. There haven’t been any official statements from Felix yet. However, looking at the state of the channel, the official launch may not be too far away.
Fans speculated about the future of the stream
Fans soon poured in the comments and shared their thoughts and speculations about the impact of this infinite stream on streaming meta.
I would imagine so yes, seems like he's averaging between 2-5k viewers at all times as well so it'll definitely add up.

Love the idea but needs to be its own category on twitch. I can see a lot of people doing the same and have my feed flooded with "infinity content" when I want "LIVE" streams. Someone can accidentally think that its a live stream and not a rebrodacast.

I feel like a lot of the older videos would not hold up language wise

Won't work… simple reason, no interaction…. That's why people come to the platform… also why streamers stoped player reruns…
If you're just playing videos, this is worse than a YouTube experience.— 6PACandOtto (@6PACandOtto) March 28, 2023
🤷🏾♂️ bob ross can do it, so can pewds. it’s a great idea. Idk why folks would sub buy I’m also not one to tell people where to spend their money.
