This 10-year delay in a sequel for GTA V is due to Take-Two and Rockstar Games finding a cheat code in the form of Grand Theft Auto Online. But to the surprise of many fans, Rockstar Games claimed that a new GTA title is in development in February 2022. Fans almost certainly won’t be getting a trailer till next year. A late 2024 trailer means a late 2025 or an early 2026 release. It seems a long time but there’s nothing gamers can do. However, they can hope Rockstar Games taking their time for GTA 6 means the game will be amazing.
