Persona or Shin Megami Tensei: Persona is a famous video game franchise offering blockbuster Japanese role-playing games to fans. Developed by Atlus, a Sega-owned studio, Persona started its journey in 1996 on PlayStation. However, with Persona 5, this franchise started its global journey and eventually crossed the records of all previous developments.

Atlus brought many spin-offs of Persona 5 as the title received immense love from the players. Now following the rumors of Persona 5 Royal’s arrival on Xbox Game Pass, fans are speculating about Persona 6’s development in the process.

Rumors suggest Persona 6’s arrival on Xbox Day One

Persona 5 Royal’s inclusion on Xbox Game Pass hinted to fans about Atlus’ thoughts on Persona 6. It’s been five years since fans received a sequel of Persona 5 other than numerous spin-offs.

Although the exclusive 25th anniversary website of the studio announced the game’s launch during the Autumn of 2022, Persona 6 was delayed. However, Nick Shpeshal, co-host of the Xbox Era Podcast, said that he heard about the game coming to Xbox Day One. He couldn’t give details about whether Persona 6 will feature on Xbox Game Pass.

Previously, one leak suggested that Atlus’ Persona 6 will release on PlayStation 5. Although he spoke about the game’s availability on PlayStation during the latter half of 2024, he didn’t confirm that it won’t be playable on the Xbox. This leak confirmed Persona 3’s remake, which will release at the end of 2023 on the Xbox Showcase. Despite these rumors exciting the fans, people were not truly convinced until Nick Sphpesal’s discussion. Now with this brand-new leak, fans are quite convinced that Persona 6 will soon appear offering more in-game immersions for players.

The color green might suggest a new protagonist for Persona 6

Following the significance of colors in the Persona franchise, rumors suggested that Persona 6 will probably focus on green. Persona’s 25th-anniversary celebration revealed an illustration of the in-game protagonist characters with a bucket full of green paint at the side. Fans believed that it hints toward Persona 6’s protagonist as the bucket is kept next to Persona 5’s protagonist, Joker. Although some fans call it a bluff, many suggest that the green paint is not used anywhere in the illustration. The paint’s presence made them think about the green color’s significance in Persona 6.

Colors might not matter for many games, but the case is different for the Persona franchise. For example, Persona 3’s blue theme helped in enhancing the game’s melancholic world to the fans.
