Streamer Ludwig Ahgren expresses his disappointment on being left out from Twitch 2021 recap
Ludwig seemed disappointed after he was left out of this video. The streamer announced in November 2021 that he had signed an exclusive deal with YouTube Gaming. While he has spoken about this move in multiple streams, here he expresses his resentment of being removed from the 2021 Recap.
The streamer says that it was really sad to be removed. In the stream, he talked about people hating his content. He said that he was struggling with it in his initial few weeks after the switch to YouTube gaming.
He says, “People are much meaner than I thought” while assuring that it does not bother him much. While he agreed that hate comes as a part of being a content creator, he further adds about the entitlement that viewers have from being regulars in Twitch. He says, “I didn’t think people would be so against me because they align themselves so heavily with being a Twitch viewer.”

He thinks that watching streamers on Twitch is like supporting a football team. It is quite a connotation towards fan culture that has been prevalent all around the world. He talks about how he would ask his viewers from YouTube to stream his content on Twitch and this is how he reached 10,000 viewers without any collabs.
Further, Ludwig went on to criticize the Twitch viewers community saying “I realized how much bigger the community feels than it actually is”. The streamer explains this statement by comparing the content produced in Twitch with a tiny dot, implying its relevance in the world. He gives an example of Gordon Ramsay who has recently thrown shade at Twitch in his promotional Tweet for Next Level Chef.
