Call of Duty Modern Warfare II players are soon going to have a blast. Seems like the devs won’t leave any stone unturned in making it an experience to remember before the next major installment comes out. Season 6 is going to give the fans a lot of surprises. Especially to those who haven’t moved on from the news of the original Warzone shutting down recently. Now, they will get a chance to relive the old days in a spooky way!

It will be the last major update for MWII. What makes it extremely different from previous seasons, however, is the fact that players will get a taste of a lot of Zombies-related content. Ahead of their arrival in MWIII, the undead will make their scary presence felt in MWII and Warzone battle royale. Speaking of the latter, it will witness the return of a fan-favorite Zombies mode in Season 6 – straight from beloved, original Warzone.

Remember the famous mode from 2020’s The Haunting of Verdansk? Well, it is coming back with the next seasonal update. For those who are unaware, Zombies Royale was initially revealed in the first Warzone, as a limited-time content. It saw the map of Verdansk turning into a nightmare for players who had to go against the undead in a scary environment.

Now, the Zombies Royale is returning once again with Season 6 under Call of Duty Modern Warfare II. It will be available for Warzone players, as part of The Haunting event, set to kick off on October 17, 2023.

Alongside the iconic, limited-time mode, Rebirth of the Dead is also coming back. The Zombies Royale will turn the existing battle royale maps of Al Mazrah and Vondel into areas affected by the undead during night time.

What’s in store for players in Zombies Royale when Season 6 arrives?

In this mode, the players will go against each other. In case they get killed, they won’t be sent to Gulag this time. Instead, they will turn into Zombies under The Haunting event. “Once you’ve been zombified, you’ll find several impressive abilities available to you as you attempt to savagely tear apart the remaining human Operators,” reads the official blog for Season 6.
