A Multiplayer title like Valorant isn’t easy to manage in terms of game balance. Titles like this contain an insane roster of characters, weapons, and various abilities that are quite difficult to manage, and Riot Games has done a fantastic job thus far to bring great balance to the game by routinely visiting every agent’s performance. The studio even tweaked all the weapons in the game at one point to improve quality of life.
However, it seems like those changes have paved the way for a whole new meta that has made Judge and Marshall stronger. These weapons weren’t an issue prior to the previous adjustments, but then things changed completely.

Valorant needs a weapon nerf at the earliest possible
Despite the previous tweaks made to Judge, not much has changed. This powerful automatic shotgun continues to be a nightmare for rifle users in tight corners. It still holds an overbearing power to knock multiple enemies with just a single clip. Moreover, shotguns are always difficult to balance, especially when they are fully automatic in nature.
In the case of Marshall, the obvious no-scope and superb accuracy is becoming a menace in both casual and professional play. It is quite true that using the gun is not for low-skilled people. However, with a bit of practice and patience, anyone can get good with the gun. Best yards stick to measure their over-powered nature is the ongoing LAN tournament in Berlin.
Players like TenZ, Bunny, Kelogz, and more made great use of both these weapons. In a number of cases, these things seemed downright overpowered, as they could take down fully kitted enemies easily. These cheap weapons being able to kill enemies with full armor easily break the balance.

Marshall needs a nerf to its no-scope accuracy, as the current version shoots straight on the crosshair. Sniper rifles aren’t supposed to do that as it makes it for a less immersive experience. Moreover, the Judge can be adjusted by bringing its rate of fire down considerably. The nerf to its price was indeed great, but the insane fire rate still makes it a game-breaking weapon.
