A new gameplay feature lets the action be slowed down
Sony has been long focused on bringing its gaming experience to a wider audience. The PS makers understand that players have varying skills and abilities and are determined to make sure that doesn’t alter the in-game experience for each individual. With that in mind, the website update has announced a lot of accessibility improvements. Sony aims to let more people enjoy Spider-Man 2 with these features.

One of the biggest points of the new accessibility features is that in Spider-Man 2 players can slow down the gameplay by up to 70% if you feel like the normal speed is just too much for you. The feature will be a significant leap forward for video-game developers and may open new doors for studios to venture into new paths. Players can also change back to normal speed at any time. This feature will also allow players to take more time as they explore the new map that’s supposed to be an even larger in-game New York.

More audio-video accessibility features for greater immersion
With the gameplay feature, other audio features also attempt to offer a gaming experience to more players with different skills. Screen-reader support will be available in Spider-Man 2 which will read out on-screen options on all menu pages. Moreover, if you enjoy cutscenes just as much as the game itself, then Spider-Man 2 will have something more for your needs.

On-screen captions and all audio descriptions will be available for all the cutscenes in the game. This means more immersion and no fear of losing out. With these accessibility features, more options like parkour mode, aim mode, and chase assist will also elevate the experience for the players.
