There had been some strong speculations around the developers planning to introduce the attachments after the rumors of a possible FPS mode were fueled. A lot of fighting video games, like some battle royale games, contain attachments for weapons. While players of Apex Legends can modify their weapons while on the fly, those who play Call of Duty: Warzone can obtain these attachments through the Create-A-Class system.
Evidently, the leak was enough to spark excitement among the community.
Fans are thrilled
Following the leaks, Fortnite fans expressed their enthusiasm as they hailed praise for the developers for what they have been up to.
