That’s why many people have expressed their disappointment against the newly introduced Twitter Blue program by Elon Musk. Recently, popular streamer HasanAbi called out the billionaire business magnate for the paid way of getting the blue tick.

HasanAbi thinks Elon Musk is stupid for making the decision to buy Twitter

Twitter users have witnessed a complete change in the platform after Elon Musk took over few days back. As soon as he completed the acquisition, the Tesla co-founder brought an unprecedented transition in the way the platform works. Especially when it comes to offering the verification to the accounts. In a more fancy language, it’s also called the blue tick.

Previously, there was a certain criteria one had to fulfil to be eligible to get the verified status. But now, Elon Musk has introduced Twitter Blue program. Under this, anyone who wants to be verified can get the blue tick by simply paying $8 on a monthly basis.

Streamer HasanAbi, along with other critics of Twitter Blue, recently expressed his angst against the new change implemented on the platform. Per the popular Twitch content creator, Elon’s decision to buy Twitter for $44 billion to impose a paid method of getting verification is simply “stupid”.

“ofc elon is stupid enough to think people will pay 8$ a month to have their posts be seen, he literally paid 44$Bn for that validation,” he wrote in one of his latest tweets.

Furthermore, HasanAbi, while replying to someone else, mentioned that “people hate to pay to win schemes until it’s someone they idolize selling it to them under the false premise of free speech”.
