Ghostrunner caught many fans off guard with its spectacular game design. The story of a cyborg ninja in a cyberpunk-like setting proved to be a unique take on sci-fi storylines and gamers loved every second of the game. In the post-apocalyptic world, you will play as a cybernetically-enhanced swordsman with a mission to learn what happened to you.
You gain consciousness as you are thrown from the Dharma Tower and you barely have any idea as to what happened to you. In Ghostrunner, you have to find the answers that will help you understand why you have a constant thirst to kill people. The lightning-fast slasher game made a lot of noise with its exciting gameplay and captivating story. Its sequel was announced in 2021 and since then gamers have waited for Ghostrunner 2 to finally drop.
