But now it seems that instead of enjoying the game and its double XP feature, they are stealing its codes without any apparent reason. This has made many fans upset as they blame the thieves for ruining everybody’s fun.

Thieves stealing codes of Call of Duty MWII and selling them online

According to recent tweets by many Call of Duty fans, it seems that several people are stealing double XP codes of COD MWII printed on little pamphlets stuck to packets of Jack Link’s Spicy Dill Pickle Pork Strips. And since these pamphlets were glued at the front of the packet instead of inside, many notorious fans took the chance to steal them and sell them online.

Call of Duty insider, Modern Warzone, tweeted, “On the ground reporting from Walmart on the Jack Links beef jerky double XP codes for Modern Warfare 2 being stolen from every store I can find.” He further noted, “If you want to buy Jack Links for 2X XP make sure you buy a bag that hasn’t had its code stolen. Watch the video for details.”

This was also the reason many fans started calling out the thief and instead of regretting it, he started calling fans “bozos.”

Fans get furious at someone claiming to be the thief

This response from the guiltless thief did not sit well with the fans. They were pissed with this infuriating behavior from the individual and lashed out at him. Some fans said that it is surprising for this person named siq to even get out of his house. siq, who claimed to be the one stealing the pamphlets, said that he stole them to sell them. In the same Twitter thread, he also said that he has sold almost all the codes.

Later, some fans got mad at him and said that he should get a job, to which siq replied, “I’m making money off bozos like you.” This got him/her a lot of negative attention and fans alongside critics also criticized this kind of behavior.

The thread following this one saw a detailed explanation from siq along with some unwanted swearing. Justifying his actions, he said that he sells them for $5, which is much cheaper than what people would usually have to spend, which is $12 for a code attached to a tasteless snack packet.
