All the rumors about a potential Hawkeye skin in Fortnite seem to have been squashed with the introduction of this latest skin. Fortnite has announced the induction of S.H.I.E.L.D. commander Nick Fury’s skin to their arsenal of Marvel IPs, and this might have shocked many fans expecting to see Hawkeye come in next.

It was obvious from the timing of the previous leak that a Hawkeye skin would drop pretty soon in Epic’s Battle Royale. However, Epic chose to surprise their fans and bring in one of the classic characters from the Marvel Universe.

While Fortnite’s addition of Nick Fury surely might have been a shocker, this does not diminish the chance that a Hawkeye skin might appear in the game in the future.
