The war of subscribers between Jimmy and Felix has been going on for months. However, it eventually became one-sided due to PewDiePie‘s own unwillingness to upload content on his channel. To be precise, it’s been more or less inactive, for a long time to say the least. In fact, Felix himself admitted, a while ago, that he was no longer interested in competing with anyone to maintain the number one status.

On the other hand, MrBeast kept on rising constantly, especially in the year 2022. This year has been truly a gift for him in terms of multiple aspects. Apart from witnessing huge success across the internet, he finally went past PewDiePie just recently.

However, after passing the milestone, Jimmy’s close friend Chris Tyson, seen in his videos, took to Twitter to announce a shocking news. He revealed that to commemorate “passing pewds, we will be deleting the main channel and will now focus on passing him on reacts. No need to watch main channel anymore. Everyone go watch reacts now!”

Yes, that’s exactly how the tweet read. According to Chris, the main YouTube channel will be deleted. And their entire focus will shift to the channel where they give reactions. If true, indeed, it’s quite surprising given the fact that Jimmy had previously mentioned his desire to grow his main channel even more on YouTube. He wished to be the first content creator to go past a billion subscribers.

But the tweet from Chris has seriously resulted in a complicated situation. It will be interesting to see what MrBeast himself has to say in the coming days. If he actually deletes the main channel, now that he has surpassed PewDiePie, will he make the reaction channel his new home for the subscribers to visit?
