Thanks to an adorable nature and customizable experience, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has succeeded in keeping the fans thoroughly satisfied so far. But it doesn’t seem to be the case right now, especially in the year 2022. This notion was very clearly highlighted recently by the fans themselves.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans disappointed with the makers’ tweet as Nintendo game remains without any new update
Zach, from the channel SwitchForce, is known for bringing crucial and significant intel on his channel regarding everything Nintendo. Just recently, he dropped a new video in which he mentioned how one of the latest tweets by the official Animal Crossing account is annoying the loyal fans.
The YouTuber explained that the game, that has sold millions of copies since its 2020 debut, hasn’t received a major update for a long time now. On top of that, instead of bringing some kind of fresh content to the online simulation title, its developers are posting a tweet about “enjoying the season” of summer.
Hi, everyone! I hope all my friends in the northern hemisphere are keeping cool! Be sure to drink plenty of water, and don't push yourself too hard. I hope you all can find a way to enjoy the season wherever you are. Take care! pic.twitter.com/xq8iejHRGA

As you can see in the tweet, it doesn’t mention anything related to ACNH getting a new content. This is kind of weird given that the Nintendo Switch hit is still going without an update for the past few months.

This sentiment was reflected in the fans’ reactions themselves. Many of the players wondered how Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ team could do this. Rather than sharing information about an upcoming change, they simply shared a random tweet.
Imagine having the balls to make anew Horizons tweet after the game is done getting updates with hundreds of Characters and Events and thousands of items still missing.

Can't believe how you guys released a bare-bones animal crossing and now left it to die… I played wild world, city folk and the 3ds one way more than this one…. We want shop upgrades… More house customization..
