A similar incident took place almost a decade ago, when Nintendo director and famous designer, Shingeru Miyamoto, visited France in 2013, to promote a new console during that time, the 3DS. To everyone’s surprise, the place he decided to go to was the most-visited museum in the world.
When Miyamoto went to the Louvre museum in France to show off the Nintendo 3DS!
A Twitter account that keeps track of the most epic moments from Nintendo‘s history recently shared a photo via a tweet. This photo was not any ordinary one though, as it featured designer, Shingeru Miyamoto. However, what’s even more astonishing about this image is that he can be seen inside Louvre, the immensely famous museum located in France.

In case anyone is not aware, Louvre is the most-visited museum in the world, while also being a historical landmark. It is home to some really amazing works of art such as the Mona Lisa, and Venus de Milo. The museum is housed in the Louvre Palace. The latter was built in the late 12th to 13th century under Phillip II.
Contrary to the aesthetics of the place where he was, Mr. Miyamoto, in the picture, is seen holding a Nintendo 3DS inside the Louvre museum. One can say he was trying to promote the hardware which was the newest console from the Japanese gaming giant.
All things considered, it can be termed as one of the most creative, and of course artistic, ways of spreading the message about a Nintendo console.
