Nintendo’s games always release a very positive response. Fans buy them and critics shower them with their praises. And Nintendo’s latest titles, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, are gearing up for a similar response. But these games are also facing some issues before launch.
Last week someone leaked a full working rom of the latest Pokemon games to the public. Now, this has resulted in two things, lots and lots of spoilers everywhere, and hackers already preparing various hacks for the upcoming Nintendo switch game.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fall victim to leaks
The games that are slated to launch on November 18 can be described as one of the most anticipated titles of 2022. But this leak has caused a lot of commotion amongst the fan community.

And this is not the first time something like this happening. A while ago someone got their hands on a copy of Pokemon Violet early and was actively leaking gameplay videos and screenshots everywhere.
And it is very understandable if some Pokemon fans are disappointed with whatever’s going on. It’s a unique experience when a person experiences a game for the very first time. And this experience is being ruined by a bunch of inconsiderate leakers.

Leaks have been spoiling the fun for a long time
This is not the first time a thing like this has happened. When Sony PlayStation exclusive God of War: Ragnarok was close to its launch, some people started leaking spoilers about the game’s story online.
Before that, a Hacker went ahead and leaked a bunch of Grand Theft Auto 6’s gameplay footage. This actually hurt the developer Rockstar Games pretty badly, as the game has not even been revealed yet. And recently someone even leaked a two-minute footage of acclaimed game director, Hideo Kojima’s next game Overdose online.

Leaks in gaming are not very uncommon, but it’s damaging no matter what. It spoils players eagerly waiting for the game. It ruins the chances of developers and publishers making a mark with an actual launch. Hoping that leaks like these don’t come in the coming future, as an element of surprise is never a bad thing.
