Nintendo Upsets Fans Yet Again as the Latest Super Mario Bros Poster Happens to Be “Another Bland Marvelesque Poster”

It’s not like every poster that follows a Tower layout to present the premise of the film is bad. It’s actually the opposite since it tells a lot, but without revealing much. However, it seems that after the grand success of Marvel’s Infinity War and Endgame, movies with several characters have made it a trend to use the exact same format to be used in their posters as well. And it seems that Nintendo has fallen for the same trap this time with The Super Mario Bros. poster.

Upsetting a lot of fans and not getting good reviews for the poster, it seems that fans expected something more creative from the company as they are already known to break the rules and make genre-altering stuff for fans. Then what happened this time?

Fans say Nintendo Super Mario Bros. Movie offers the same poster design as Marvel

The latest Super Mario Bros. poster is out, and it seems that fans are having a not-so-good feeling about it. With a lot of posters looking almost the same, fans are giving mixed reviews on how they feel the poster looks. If you are a movie buff, you will realize that posters like the latest Super Mario Bros. have been in circulation in the industry for quite some time.

At first, used by Marvel, then Star Wars and Disney, the entire design of the poster is an output of scientific research rather than the mind of a creative poster designer. Thus, the copy-pasted format of the poster has been seen as attractive, but quite repetitive.

Therefore fans also have the same complaint, with some saying that, “Humans and their propensity to be so easily swayed subconsciously by scientifically researched and statistically proven methods of advertising.“

While another fan wrote, “Another bland Marvelesque poster.. let’s hope this isn’t a snooze fest like Winter Soldier or Guardians of the galaxy.. YAWN next.” Some fans even wrote, “Character Pyramids are where creativity goes to die. This one has been up in my local theater for months. It is infinitely better and still has whimsy and composition.”
