Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a great title when it comes to the genre of online simulation. Perhaps it’s the best in the ways that it offers multiple options and features to the players to bring creativity and customizations to their islands.

However, the Nintendo Switch title recently received another great feature. Well, this latest option allows the players to get more closer to their favorite in-game characters (or villagers) than ever before.

According to a popular YouTuber, on the channel named ceomg, Nintendo recently offered a stunning new feature in ACNH. Apparently, it allows the Nintendo Switch Online members to redeem villagers with platinum points to be used on the Switch profile picture.

Now the main catch with this exciting option is that the player can only redeem those villagers who have their birthdays in a given month. For example, if you currently want to use an in-game villager on your Switch profile picture, they should have their birthdays in June, which is the current month.

Another interesting detail to not miss is that for villagers available in June, one can only redeem them until July 4, 2022, at 6 pm PDT. After that, you cannot use them on your profile picture. Then, you will need to look out for fresh villagers with platinum points who will have their birthdays in the month of July. Depending on the villagers in a given month, different icon elements will be available.
