Nintendo and Warner Bros. announced the Batman: Arkham Trilogy for the Nintendo Switch a while ago. This announcement really made a bunch of Switch owners very excited. Being Batman on the go is something not to be scoffed at.

After this trilogy was announced during Nintendo Direct, fans were left hanging without a launch date. But it looks like fans do not have to wait much longer for this trilogy. The publisher has finally announced the launch date and it’s not that far away.

Rejoice Nintendo Switch users! Finally, you get to be the world’s greatest detective on the go. WB will be bringing not one but three games to this system. The epic trilogy originally developed by the legendary Rocksteady Studios has been lauded critically pretty much universally.

The collection will be released on October 13, 2023. And fans will be able to order it for themselves very soon.

For those unaware, this collection will include three of the original Arkham games specifically worked on by Rocksteady. The first one is Batman: Arkham Asylum, a game that is remembered as something that changed people’s perspectives on superhero games. It features Batman as he goes around Arkham Asylum trying to take its control back from The Joker and his pals.

The sequel Batman: Arkham City is a direct follow-up to Asylum. Following the debacle at Arkham Asylum, Mayor Quincy Sharp turns a whole piece of Gotham into Arkham City. The warden of this new asylum is none other than Hugo Strange, and he surprisingly knows who Batman is. Batman has to take him down and find his ulterior motive behind Arkham City.

The final game Batman: Arkham Knight was a game for the ages. Batman is in his prime in this title. Scarecrow and a mysterious villain, Arkham Knight, take over Gotham, and Batman has to stop them before they do something sinister. The selling point of this game was the Batmobile, and people had a very polarizing response to it.

We will soon see how Nintendo gamers react to all these games. Previously, the developer Turn Me Up games worked on Nintendo Switch ports for games like Borderlands and It Takes Two. It can be easily said that these ports are in very good hands. Let’s see if they turn out as well as expected.
