Nintendo recently showcased a number of games that surprised and hyped many Nintendo Switch owners. These titles included sequels to some big games that previously launched and were very successful, as well as some new IPs whose developers were hopeful that gamers would embrace games they have worked so hard on.

With such a huge lineup, it gets pretty hard to choose what games one should play. So, here are a few games from this showcase that no one should miss.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach

Finally, the fan-favorite jump scare-ridden series returns with yet another installment. This one features a protagonist who is basically a young boy trapped in one of those Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex.

However, there’s a twist to this tale this time as players get aided by none other than Freddy Fazbear himself. This game is defined as the reimagination of this series to make it more approachable for newer players. It was shadow-dropped on the e-shop and is available to purchase right now.

OXENFREE II: Lost Signals

Oxenfree is a series of games that fans have loved ever since the first game became a cult classic. A series that mixes science fiction with supernatural elements, fans could not get enough of its deep story with a heartfelt message.

Oxenfree II aims to offer a similar experience in a new setting with a bunch of new characters. This game will be available on July 12 for everyone to enjoy.

Teslagrad 2 and Teslagrad Remastered

Teslagrad is a very beautiful side-scrolling puzzle platformer that became an instant hit back in 2013. The game was so successful that for many players, it instantly became one of the best games ever made.

And then as fans always do, they started asking for a sequel, which never came. But during this showcase, developer Rain Games surprised everyone as they shadow-dropped both Teslagrad Remastered and Teslagrad II on the Nintendo e-shop during the showcase itself.

Animal Well

A very open-ended title where people find themselves exploring pixelated underground environments. As they uncover valuable treasures during their expeditions, they approach even denser and creepier environments.

Even though the developers did not present it as a horror game, it sure looks like one. The game will launch this winter, and it looks like it would be worth a go.

Blasphemous 2

This is probably the biggest reveal of this showcase, and developer The Game Kitchen did not waste any time just talking; they went straight to presenting this new game in all its glory.

The showcase revealed that it would now feature multiple weapon loadouts, opening a number of new ways for players to fight those horrifying nightmares that get in the way of their pilgrimage. This side-scrolling, soulslike was announced to be released this summer.
