This game is a godsend for anyone who enjoys side-scrolling beat ’em ups. Full of neon environments, numerous levels, and a number of characters to choose from, the SoR4 game has no shortage of content.
It even has a survival mode, and up to four players can play the campaign in co-op mode. What is this game if not the ultimate weekend blast?
Resident Evil 4
The Nintendo Switch edition of this classic game launched a while ago, and it did not disappoint. It runs smoothly, it’s beautiful to look at, and it does the thing that matters the most; giving its owners a fun time.
Explore an unknown land in search of a kidnapped VVIP, meeting odd characters and fighting creepy enemies along the way. And the best part is that this game is on sale currently on Nintendo eShop.
Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon
A prequel to those insane action-focused mainline Bayonetta games. You play as a little girl named Cereza who slowly learns how to control her powers, as well as the demon named Cheshire. For better or worse, they are bound to each other.
Cereza uses this demon to save her mother from captivity. The game takes a lot of inspiration from Okamiden, which is only fitting given that this game was developed by former Okami makers who formed Platinum Games.
Metroid Fusion
Ever wondered what all the fuss was about the older Metroid titles? Well, if you have a Nintendo Switch Online+ Expansion Pass subscription, try it for yourself. This is one of the best games in this series.
Find the source of parasite X to cure yourself of its infestation before it consumes you. This is a very basic premise for sure, but that’s all it needs. Explore a planet full of secrets and unlock the mystery behind this weird mutating organism.
Super Mario Odyssey
This game was launched years ago with the Nintendo Switch. It deserves a playthrough every now and then, just to remind ourselves of the excellence that Nintendo puts into its games.
