The fiasco started when Bloomberg posted an article hinting towards a Nintendo console that supports 4K graphics. This was quite a believable theory at the time since 11 game development companies were believed to have possession of Nintendo’s 4K Development kit for the Switch. Zynga spokesperson Sarah Ross explained in their statement to Bloomberg that they were not in possession of this kit.
