Recently, there has been much speculation regarding a Nintendo console supporting 4K graphics. However, NintendoCoLtd put the rumors to bed with an emphatic tweet revealing that they are “not true”. This entire ordeal has left fans wondering when the developer will finally look to bridge the gap in graphics as compared to its competitors.
The fiasco started when Bloomberg posted an article hinting towards a Nintendo console that supports 4K graphics. This was quite a believable theory at the time since 11 game development companies were believed to have possession of Nintendo’s 4K Development kit for the Switch.
According to Nintendo, the article “falsely claims that Nintendo is supplying tools to drive game development for a Nintendo Switch with 4K support.”
