Video games are always fun to dive into and there have been instances where they often end up giving more than just entertainment to the users. This fits perfectly in the case of Nintendo’s popular online simulation title Animal Crossing. The game is soon going to get an unexpectedly amazing makeover for a noble objective.
As per the latest reports, Animal Crossing is getting its own encyclopedia based on the creatures that appear in the Nintendo title.
Nintendo’s Animal Crossing turning into a nature encyclopedia for school kids in Japan!

According to VGC, a nature encyclopedia, comprising of all Animal Crossing creatures, will soon release in Japan. Its purpose will be to educate the school kids in the country. The book will consist of 57-minute long DVD as well.
Its main objective will be to teach the players about the ecology of the Nintendo title. Along with that, it will also provide key facts and information regarding different butterflies, fish, and many more. Simply put, every creature found in the simulation game will make it to the encyclopedia.
The book will offer the details on all the 235 species found in Animal Crossing.

One more thing to note is that this book won’t be released with an English translation, at least according to the current details. Apart from the main Japanese version, there’s no information available regarding any other language.

Nintendo is solely pushing this encyclopedia as an educational tool for the kids. That way, they will be able to learn more about their surroundings, although with the help of a video game’s virtual environment.
The Animal Crossing book will make its debut on July 29th, 2022.
In other news, Nintendo is busy with its slate for the remainder of this year. It has multiple awaited projects lined-up to arrive in the coming months. Some of the most anticipated titles fans are currently hyped for include the likes of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
