Nintendo President Assures Fans of a Bright and Respectful Future Ahead for Mario

The plumber wonder is never out of relevance even when the gaming industry is dominated by high-budget AAA titles. As most games continue making attempts to carve a niche for themselves, Mario continues to attract more fans than ever before. With a blockbuster movie already making the headlines, Nintendo President claims that Mario’s future is secure and in the hands of people who have a high respect for the character and what he stands for.

Mario is arguably the most iconic product of the video gaming industry. Even those who aren’t gamers have knowledge about Mario and his adventures. Now, as Super Mario Bros. Wonder once again looks to spread magic over the fans, Mario’s future becomes more of an important thing for the community.

Nintendo President confident about Mario’s future

While the recently released 2D Mario game is expected to make things a little difficult for long-time fans of the franchise, the future of Mario is also a major thing that’s been discussed extensively in recent times. With Charles Martinet, long-time Mario voice actor stepping away from his role, Mario might need to take a breather and ponder the future possibilities. However, Doug Bowser vouches that fans need not worry.

“It’s limitless“, Bowser was heard stating recently talking about where Mario is headed. The Nintendo President believes that the people involved with the franchise comprehend well the factors that make Mario a hit among fans and this knowledge will work as the guiding hand in the future as well.

Along with that, Nintendo also has possible plans for yet another big-budget movie on the horizon after the grand success of The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

By diversifying, Nintendo looks to stay atop the gaming industry in the coming days. While the older (and definitely harder) Nintendo titles helped the company to amass a large fan following, the future looks equally tempting!
