Nintendo is known for its great consoles and amazing titles for many years. It has entertained gamers of various age groups with some of the best-known, iconic offerings, like Mario, Kirby, and Pokemon. It is one fact that almost everyone is aware of publicly.

However, when it comes to its operations and how it usually works in terms of manufacturing the consoles, the publisher always tries to keep things mostly confidential. But it wasn’t the case several decades back when Nintendo not only shared deep insight into its console-making process but also showed glimpses of its manufacturing place itself.

When Nintendo’s Mario taught how to make the NES for children!

It was during the year 1986 when Nintendo began an initiative to connect with the school children in a unique manner. Apparently, the publisher published a special feature in a children’s magazine, showing how to make the NES console for the kids.

 

The feature had a picture of the iconic gaming character, Mario, telling the steps to make the NES for school children.

However, apart from the console-making procedure, the magazine also featured rare pictures of the official Nintendo factory in Kyoto. It even had one image showing a desk that hit the dots.

This entire initiative was quite a rare exception in Nintendo’s working style. Simply because the company is mostly known to stay very secretive, especially when it comes to revealing a place like its main factory itself.

But it was nice to see how Nintendo tried to educate school children and made them interested in gaming, more than three decades ago.

In other news, the developer and publisher are currently busy in preparing for the next batch of upcoming releases. After the immense success of Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Kirby, and Switch Sports, the company will try to maintain its dream run with more hits.

With the likes of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Splatoon 3, and Pokemon: Scarlet and Violet, the future line-up looks quite promising.
