The recent PlayStation 5 price hike has fans in frenzy. Most of them can’t believe that their beloved Sony product is doing such injustice to players on a global market. Thus, they are making really harsh claims and accusations against the company. While on the other hand, Nintendo has announced pleasant news to fans.

Interestingly though, many PlayStation fans are looking towards other console companies for a sense of security, but unfortunately, there are none. As recently Xbox has denied changing its price on the global market, now another console giant Nintendo has chosen to do the same.
Nintendo denies price hike amid PlayStation 5 blunder
Recently, Nintendo’s CEO Shuntaro Furukawa during the 82nd Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in June stated, “While we cannot comment on pricing strategies, we currently do not have any plans to change the price of our hardware due to inflation or increased procurement costs in each country. We will determine our future pricing strategies through careful and continued deliberations.”
Thus when Sony announced their pricing for the PlayStation 5, fans were really angry about the decision. Thus, many thought that other console giants might also try to make hay while the Sun shines. But instead, the companies took a different approach and gained more support than the other.

That was the same case with Nintendo when they decided not to change their RRP for their switch consoles in the global market. Thus gaining a lot of support from fans, but with love comes hate, and this time it is from PlayStation fans.
Fans having issues with the banter over PlayStation
Many people who remarked on Nintendo’s non-changing price policy on Twitter stated that the company’s prices are already excessively high. Following this, fans continued to argue that if the prices had been higher, no one would have bought it.
Nintendo is such a company that acts like its all about the gamers but in reality its far from true not only is that nintendo switch is already overpriced but also the fact that games as popular as animal crossing or botw haven’t made it to pc is genuinely annoying

because it’s already OVERPRICED

If you're an eejit maybe. But if it was overpriced, people would be reluctant to buy one. Nintendo isn't forcing people at gun point to buy a switch lmao. It's worth whatever consumers are willing to pay for it.

Although it was not very sunshine and rainbows for Nintendo, its fans still continued to support the decision. Many casual gamers too came to support the decision that the company made.

Wow this says a lot! I would have expected Nintendo to take any opportunity to raise prices but they choose not to. Makes you think how overpriced the Switch was from the beginning.

Apart from this, many fans pointed out that both Nintendo and Xbox had to do basically “Nothing” to get a boost in the market. This was because PlayStation itself gave its competitors the opportunity to shine.
Nintendo and Microsoft got a big W by doing absolutely nothing.
