Nintendo Looks Set to Debut Massive Changes to Animal Crossing: New Horizons In April

Animal Crossing: New Horizons has become the most popular title in the entire Animal Crossing series. Furthermore, Nintendo promotes users to trust their imagination and creates their dream world in New Horizons. Not to mention, developers added a lot of new items and mechanics in ACNH with the 2.0 update.

After introducing a bunch of quality of life upgrades, several veterans login back into the game. Apart from decoration items and events, many users look forward to seasonal changes in New Horizons.

With each month, players can notice several changes on their island. Moreover, Nintendo changes the overall aesthetics of the island with each seasonal update. We are only a few days away from the arrival of April, and these are the most important changes to look forward to.

Upcoming April changes in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Weather Phenomenon

April is a very exciting month, and players experience several unpredictable changes on their island. Interestingly, for the first 10 days of April, users won’t experience rain on their island.

Nintendo lets players enjoy the Cherry Blossom season with a clear sky. Thus, we have to water our gyroids without depending on rain. Moreover, one will not notice any river and sea fog early morning starting in April.

April event

Nintendo will start April by releasing the popular Easter egg event, Bunny Day event, in New Horizons. For eight days, your island will be transformed into an egg spawning island.

From April 10 to April 17, players will notice different types of Easter eggs on their islands. These include earth, leaf, sky, stone, water, and wood.

Furthermore, they can even collect several Bunny Day recipes from message bottles, daily balloons, villagers, and Zipper. The Bunny series is the largest furniture and clothing set in the entire franchise.

Seasonal materials in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Starting from April, Young Spring Bamboo will start spawning on Northern Hemisphere users’ islands. This season item is used to craft items from the Young Spring Bamboo series. The Young Spring Bamboo item will be available throughout April and May.

Apart from the Young Spring Bamboo item, users will also notice another seasonal item in April for 10 days.

From April 1, Cherry Blossom season will arrive in New Horizons and players will encounter several cherry blossom petals floating around their island.

It is used to craft limited-time Cherry Blossom theme items. Hence, make sure to collect as many cherry blossom petals as you can during the Cherry Blossom season.
