With the latest Twitter post, Nintendo announces a DJ K.K. Paradise Mix and Deep Cut concerts. These shows will be a part of the closing ceremony of the Nintendo Live 2022 event that is going to be held in Tokyo Big Site in Odaiba on October 8 and 9, 2022.
What else can be expected from Nintendo Live 2022?
According to the description on Nintendo Japan’s official YouTube channel, the event will consist of several Nintendo Live Sports events. This will include a parent-child tag match and a Super Smash Bros. tournament for elementary school kids as well as a live quiz. Notably, the event might also share some news on the latest indie games to be released for the Switch.

Unfortunately though, since the event is focusing only mainly on Japanese events, there will be no localized subtitles for the event. That means that it can be watched on YouTube, but without any real-time subtitles on the video. Therefore, it can be a bit speculative to say if any games might be announced during this event.
Moreover, the concerts are also mostly EDM based and are simply just in-game BGMs and OSTs combined together to play for the fans. Due to covid restrictions in Japan, only participants with pre-ordered tickets will be allowed to attend the concert live.
What fans can expect from the concert?
According to thegamer.com, the concert will feature all the DJ K.K. Paradise Mixes including ones from the “Happy Hope Paradise DLC ending, where K. K. sits on the beach with his kit and blasts his biggest hits.”

Notably, the popular videogame character has around 95 musical OSTs tagged with it. Thus, an hour mix can be a very reasonable take by the organizers of the concert. Along with this, the concert will also feature popular themes from Splatoon 3, while also getting homage to the 2019 Splatoon 2’s Kyoto Mix.
