The latest Nintendo’s Direct Event has been groundbreaking for Switch users. The Japanese studio shared a great piece of news for its live service Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. The studio is actively working on releasing an expansion pack that will include titles from NES 64 and Sega Genesis.

This new expansion pack will bring out a new pricing list that will take the new tier into account. Now, more news from within the studio suggests an exclusive console controller for Sega Genesis is being worked on for the Japanese region.

Nintendo has announced the production of the console

This is certainly great news for the fans residing in the Japanese region. The studio announced the news through its official Japanese Twitter handle, and it suggests a brand new Nintendo 64 controller is being released. According to a report by PCmag, this device is only going to be available for the Japanese region.

The ‘NINTENDO 64 Controller’ and ‘SEGA Mega Drive Fighting Pad 6B’, which allow you to play games with the same operation feeling as at that time, will also be released.” (quote translated using Google Translate)

In other news, the studio recently announced an expansion pack for its live service Nintendo Switch Online that will now add Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis titles. Switch users can dive into the nostalgic era of gaming with the live subscription that will offer 15 top-rated titles.

The new expansion pack is set to arrive in late October and soon the studio could add more prominent names to the list, GoldenEye, Kirby, Perfect Dark, and many more.
