In a recent Tweet from @ChrisRighteous, he showed how much Nintendo is trying to promote Tears of the Kingdom. Best Buy, in collaboration with Nintendo, has applied a humongous poster of the Zelda game right in front of their gates to attract users to it. They are trying to keep the game in a noticeable area so new gamers get intrigued by what the title has. And also for long-time Zelda fans to remember to pre-order the title.

While this may seem impressive, Nintendo is also trying the tactic of gifting the fans when they pre-order. And that strategy is definitely working, and the result is visible, with Tears of the Kingdom surpassing the pre-order number of Breath of the Wild. Getting your hands on The Tears of the Kingdom on the release date is an accomplishment in itself, but getting the added gifts is even better.
