Nintendo Switch is sensitive to the heat wave

According to Nintendo, a Switch system should be used in temperatures between 5 to 35 degree celsius only. In temperatures beyond 35, the system may trigger a warning message and shut down on its own. In fact, Nintendo’s Customer Service on Twitter posted the warning yesterday to make fans vigilant.

The CS also advised users to keep the Switch’s intake and exhaust ports free of dust. Lack of air flow between the two ports will cause the temperature of the main unit to rise. To avoid the same, users should maintain an ambient room temperature below 35 and clean out dust from the ports using a vacuum cleaner.

When using the Switch with a TV, users should place the Nintendo Switch Deck in a location where it doesn’t retain heat. In addition, Nintendo also asked users to bring their system to any official service center, in case there’s any unfixable issue. Moreover, users shouldn’t try to dissemble the main unit to avoid complications.
