Lately, however, hardcore Animal Crossing: New Horizons players have expressed a big disappointment about the developing team’s approach for ACNH. Especially this year, when they have failed to provide any kind of fresh update to the highly popular game. But they need not worry anymore as Nintendo seems to have addressed their requests for dropping something new in ACNH.
August brings update 2.0 from Nintendo for all the Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans
Famous YouTuber Zach, from the channel SwitchForce, came up with a brand new video recently. In that, he talked about how the online simulation title has mostly been dry in terms of receiving something unexpected and fresh. But he also had a piece of positive news for the fans who lost all hopes of getting new content in ACNH.
According to Zach, it’s August which means it’s also the time of the firework season. It also indicates that something huge is coming this Sunday, August 7th, along with the remaining Sundays (August 14th, August 21st, and August 28th) in the Nintendo Switch hit.
In case you didn’t understand, there will be firework shows on display every Sunday this month. It applies to both the Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Moreover, players have a chance to win a lot of Raffle items such as poppers and hats, and all sorts of things. It’s after Redd seemingly had some changes in the update 2.0. So now he’s having a sort of Raffle stand over at the Plaza.

Talking about the firework display event, then it will take place on the island, starting at 7:00 pm. It will run till midnight and, according to Zach, “it’s one of the coolest events” in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. He also said that the developing team should work on continuing the firework events more in the simulation title.
